Weekly Virtual Calls

Lead by Co-Founder's Trevor Spring, Jerry Riverstone, and our team of qualified mentors, our weekly calls provide a unique opportunity for boys and young men around the globe to experience meaningful and enriching connection online.

Occurrence: Every Monday

Location: Zoom

Time: 4-5:30pm PST

Cost: Pay What You Can

Rather than passively 'consuming content,' our calls allow young men to be truly seen, heard, and affirmed by older men in a safe and familiar environment that builds self-esteem, confidence, and trust.

With that as the shared foundation on our calls, conversations can be unusually transparent, authentic, and heart-felt. This allows internal challenges and questions to be faced and explored during the adolescent years that too many grown men struggle with in private throughout their adult life.

Our Model Of Mentoring

At Rooted Futures all of our mentors are trained in this simple formula...

We "LAMP"

We Do Not "FRAP"

Project

We listen without judgment, analysis, or critique and give the young men space to express themselves fully.

We are curious and accept them as they are. We lead with questions and reflect their own wisdom back to them.

We raise our own standards and model behaviors we hope they will adopt.

We identify their strengths, even if they’re subtle, and praise them openly.

Monthly Parents' Calls

On the first Tuesday of each month, parents are invited to join Rooted Futures mentors in a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgemental space. The calls are an opportunity to explore parenting challenges, ask questions, and learn from each other.

How can we consistently show up in a good way for boys and young men? How can we make it an ongoing practice to draw forth, recognize, and mirror back their best qualities and potentials?

In the process, what are we confronted with internally, and how are we being called to learn and grow? In addition to parents, partners of parents and grandparents, etc. are welcome to join the calls.
