Monthly Parents' Call
Cultivating Community
Each month we provide a virtual space specifically designed for parents and guardians to join our mentorship team in an opportunity to be heard, seen and felt in their experiences.
We provide a similar structure to the one we offer in our weekly youth calls, in addition to topics and themes that directly correlate to how we connect with the young men.

Time: 4:30-6:00pm PST

Cost: Free
Join members of our mentoring team in a relaxed and supportive space for parents. This is a judgement-free and confidential space where parents (and partners of parents, grandparents, etc) can explore parenting challenges, ask questions, and learn from each other. As parents and mentors how can we consistently show up in a good way for boys and young men? How can we make it an ongoing practice to draw forth, recognize, and mirror back their best qualities and potentials? In the process, what are we confronted with internally, and where are we being invited to grow?
A couple possible themes to explore this month are:
- Rebellion, conformity and authenticity in adolescence
- Maintaining connection during conflict
While it's great if you can be there for the whole call, no worries if you can't. Come late or leave early if necessary.
Do I have to be a parent to attend?
No, while this is designed to support parent's and their children, this is available for anyone that wants to deepen their connection to our community.
Can my son join?
No. This is a closed space for parent's and guardians to share what's on their hearts and to be met in their challenges
Do I have to stay for the whole time?
No. We do encourage you to join us from start to finish, however, you are welcome come for any portion you can make.
Will the call be recorded?
We will occasionally record these calls with the groups consent for in-house use only and mentor cohesion.
Do I need to be a paying member to join?
You are more than welcome to audit and join us for free for your first call, however we encourage you to enroll and subscribe to our monthly membership for ongoing participation.

After each of the experiences (my son) has had, he really seems to feel more aligned, and able to communicate that to me… I think it has been really encouraging for him.
I feel that in working with youth like this, I meet with a younger part of myself, and it’s this beautiful meeting of the older men becoming younger, and the younger men becoming older. It’s such a rare space to be in and that’s what I keep coming back for.
